Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated In Vivo Pharmacology group leader in the Department of Pathology & Nonclinical Development at Lyell. The successful candidate will lead and manage Lyell’s In Vivo Pharmacology core group and manage all aspects of in vivo studies internally as well as with external CROs. The candidate will collaborate closely with Lyell’s Research groups, as well as bioinformatics, flowcytometry, and pathology core laboratories to coordinate and conduct studies, plan and maintain project timelines, and interface with facility management to maintain a well-functioning vivarium facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and executing various mouse tumor models assessing adoptive T-cell efficacy, mechanism of actions, and safety, and has solid experience in managing animal facilities as well as external partners. The successful candidate will display enthusiasm, teamwork, mentorship, and scientific excellence and become an active scientific thought leader within Lyell’s Research division.
